Latin Entertainment and the Phoenix Monsoon announced today that one of Mexico's most storied teams, Club America will face Morelia in a friendly on Sunday, July 10, 2011. The game will be played at the Global Spectrum managed University of Phoenix Stadium, located in Glendale, AZ. Game time is slated for 5 p.m.

Club America features Mexico National Team players Guillermo Ochoa (goalkeeper), a member of the FIFA 2010 World Cup squad, defender Juan Carlos Valenzuela, and forwards Enrique Esqueda and Angel Reyna. The Club America team is the most decorated club internationally in Mexico having won eight FIFA recognized international titles, the most by any team in Mexico or from CONCACAF.

Morelia, fresh off its recent 2nd place finish in the 2010-2011 Premiere League Championship, and win over Club America, has Mexican National Team player, Elias Hernandez, on their squad.
